While online genealogy tools abound, it can be difficult to identify free resources to build robust family histories. This program is designed to help you begin to sketch out a family tree, identify functional research jumping-off-points, and put together a research plan. We will then review my bibliography of free resources ranging from court records and census maps to deeds indexes, and orphan’s court dockets.
This is not a first-person, “living history” program.
